Joy Avenue View Photos An initiative to celebrate the spirit of Mumbai at Shrimad Rajchandraji Marg, Opera House, the first edition of Joy Avenue saw flocks of attendees, young and old, soaking in the sun and good vibes. This initiative was organised by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, and supported by Lodha Foundation, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Greater Mumbai Police and BEST. Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji’s pious presence, along with dignitaries such as Hon’ble MLA, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Bhushan Gagrani, Municipal Commissioner, BMC, Vivek Phansalkar, Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, Dr. Ashwini Joshi, Additional Municipal Commissioner (City), BMC, heralded the beginning of this noble initiative. Atmarpit Nemiji addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech galvanising the crowd towards the spirit of joy and sharing that with others, along with speeches by Vivek Phansalkar and Bhushan Gagrani. Through games, sports, food and fun, the street was alive with joy, as people from all walks of life came together to celebrate and share in this spirit.
