Launch of Sahebji’s Sports Association

On the pious occasion of Gurupurnima, the youth of the Mission were blessed with a magnificent present – the gift of Sahebji’s Sports Association (SSA).

The journey that began as Sahebji’s Football Club (SFC) has evolved into SSA, a global entity. SSA is a vibrant, all-encompassing sports association. While the kick-off is with football, SSA is designed to include a wide range of sports such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, throwball, racket sports, athletics and more. SSA reaches beyond India to other nations, uniting clubs and teams worldwide under a single banner.

The evening was filled with excitement and gratitude as those who had been part of this incredible journey from the beginning were honoured. The outgoing SFC Core Committee members were blessed with a token of love from the revered hands of Pujya Gurudevshri.

Amidst a thunderous applause, the new SSA Core Team members were invited to the stage to offer a bouquet and receive blessings from the Master. The new Core Team comprises of Yuvarpits Sachi Jhaveri, Tanushka Dedhia, Rushabh Jain, Shreya Virani, Shanay Sanghavi, Chiara Jhaveri and Harsh Kamdar, Jivanarpits Manav Mehta and Saumil Gandhi and Hridayarpit Hetali Doshi.

Vice-president of the Mission and Personal Secretary to Pujya Gurudevshri, Atmarpit Nemiji and Atmarpit Kothariji were thanked for their relentless support and guidance towards the evolution of SFC to SSA. They received tokens of appreciation from the pious hands of the Master. The managers of the various teams also received mementos from Pujya Gurudevshri.

The moment of the grand launch of SSA finally arrived. To the tune of the new theme song, Pujya Gurudevshri unveiled the new SSA logo and waved the SSA flag. The new trophies were unveiled by Atmarpit Nemiji and Atmarpit Kothariji and Pujya Gurudevshri lovingly signed a football with ‘My Guru My Goal,’ giving every member of SSA a higher purpose.
