Pujya Gurudevshri’s Pious Presence at Akshardham Pranpratishtha Mahotsav, Robbinsville Pujya Gurudevshri graced the grand Pranpratishtha Mahotsav of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha’s Akshardham Mandir in Robbinsville, New Jersey, on Friday, 6 October, 2023. The Akshardham Mandirs created by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha are a confluence of spiritual, cultural and social values. Spread across 187 acres, this grand and divine mandir is a symbol of the vibrant Indian culture. The chief deity is a 49-foot idol of Shri Nilkanth Varni. The mandir also features a water body called Brahmkund, the Mayur Dwar and various other specialties. It has been built by the dedicated efforts of over 12,500 volunteers. For the past few decades, Pujya Gurudevshri and BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha have shared a mutually loving and cordial relationship. Pujya Gurudevshri attended the Pranpratishtha Mahotsav along with the Trustees of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharampur. Pujyashri Mahant Swami, the current spiritual head of BAPS along with various saints, dignitaries and devotees from across the world were present on this occasion. Pujyashri Brahmavihari Swami and Pujyashri Gnanpriya Swami gave Pujya Gurudevshri a complete tour of the new mandir. The holy anjanshalaka vidhi was also performed through the revered hands of Pujya Gurudevshri. In the evening session, both Pujya Gurudevshri and Pujyashri Mahant Swami showed their mutual love and respect by garlanding and adorning each other with a shawl. Pujya Gurudevshri was also presented a souvenir on this occasion. Pujya Gurudevshri blessed the assembly with His divine discourse wherein He extolled the virtues of Pujyashri Pramukh Swami Maharaj. In His address to the devotees, He celebrated how Pujyashri Pramukh Swami Maharaj has spread the fragrance of dharma far and wide by having inspired the creation of more than 1200 mandirs and 1100 sadhus. His selfless, pure love and marvellous acts of service to humanity have touched people’s hearts. Along with the organisation’s development, he also inspired and ensured sincere adherence to observances through his inherent purity. Addressing Pujyashri Mahant Swami as an idol of purity, Pujya Gurudevshri then applauded the contributions of all the volunteers who were part of the grand undertaking of constructing the magnificent new mandir. In his address to the gathering, Pujyashri Mahant Swami lovingly spoke in praise of Pujya Gurudevshri. The new Akshardham mandir created through the resolve of Pujyashri Pramukh Swami and the efforts of devotees will illuminate the eternal values of Hinduism – peace, harmony, dialogue and global unity.
