Commemorating Shrimad Rajchandra Jayanti 2023

The auspicious afternoon of November 27 unfolded a ceremonial spectacle at the resplendent Royal Opera House in Mumbai marking the grand inauguration of the Shrimad Rajchandra Memorial and the naming of the adjacent street, previously known as Mathew Road, to Shrimad Rajchandraji Marg.

Amidst a euphoric atmosphere filled with music and dance, Pujya Gurudevshri along with Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon. Vice President of India unveiled the boards of Shrimad Rajchandra Memorial and Shrimad Rajchandraji Marg and venerated them with flowers.

The Shrimad Rajchandra Memorial stands as a majestic tribute, encapsulating through absorbing murals the essence of Param Krupalu Dev’s sanctifying life and its profound impact on those touched by His wisdom. It includes a landscaped walkway adorned with public art, cultural depictions, play areas, a linear garden, a botanical garden, reflexology path and yoga plaza – a sanctuary designed to bring wellness and joy to the local community.

Distinguished by the esteemed presence of Pujya Gurudevshri, the event at the Royal Opera House was graced by luminaries such as Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon. Vice President of India; Shri Ramesh Bais, Hon. Governor of Maharashtra; Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Hon. India is the nerve centre of spirituality and rich culture of over 5,000 years and it is on account of spiritual titans like Shrimadji that we are sustaining it.” He continued, “This legacy of Shrimadji is carried forward by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji, who is full of sublimity, emanates light and is changing lives of people for the better.”

During the ceremony, the Hon. Vice President was bestowed with the ‘Janakalyan Hitaishi’ award by the venerable hands of Pujya Gurudevshri, acknowledging his invaluable aid to social upliftment. An idol of Param Krupalu Dev was also presented to the Hon. Vice President as a token of love. On behalf of Pujya Gurudevshri, Vice President of the Mission and Personal Secretary to Pujya Gurudevshri, Atmarpit Nemiji addressed the elated audience. He announced that the Mission would be conducting two mega multi-specialty medical camps – one at Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra and the other at Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan, the Hon. Vice President’s hometown.

The evening event witnessed seekers thronging to the Yogi Sabhagruh for the electrifying 156th Raj Jayanti celebrations in the purifying presence of Pujya Gurudevshri.

The highlights of the afternoon event were screened, leaving the audience both energised and connected. The admired Hon. Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha and his wife Smt. Manju Lodha were felicitated for their priceless contributions in the planning, execution and inauguration of the memorial and the marg. The evening witnessed the launch of a bhakti album ‘Mara Nath Krupalu Dev’ and the Mission calendars. The inauguration of Shrimad Rajchandra Chowk in Santacruz, Mumbai, was also celebrated. Sevaks who played pivotal roles in bringing these projects to fruition were lovingly applauded.

The City of Markham and the Flower Town of Brampton in Canada officially designated November 9th as Shrimad Rajchandra Day. On this day, 501 animals were rescued from the grim fate of slaughterhouses and placed in safe animal shelters.

In a captivating and illuminating discourse, Pujya Gurudevshri delved into the insightful wisdom contained in Shrimad Rajchandra Vachanamrut Haathnondh 3/23, which reinforced ‘Conviction in the right path through the Sadguru.’

We bow down in deep reverence at the Lotus Feet of Param Krupalu Dev and celebrate His birth in our hearts, resolving to spread the fragrance of His divine virtues to one and all.
