Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur introduces a pathbreaking initiative: Artificial Intelligence makes spirituality accessible globally

Mumbai, September 13: In the pious presence of global spiritual leader and founder of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji, thousands of devotees from India and abroad have been celebrating the festival of spirituality, Paryushan Mahaparva at the Dome @NSCI, Mumbai. This event has been a magnificent celebration of inner purification, spiritual awakening and inner joy.

On the evening of September 13th, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Rameshji Bais also participated in these grand celebrations and expressed his appreciation for the spiritual and social initiatives of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur.

About a year ago, one such effort was the global multi-lingual initiative to translate Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji’s discourses into 7 languages – which have regularly been enriching over 1.2 million subscribers across 191 countries through YouTube. These include global languages like Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Mandarin and English.

This Paryushan witnessed a groundbreaking milestone in this journey. Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur introduced a series of discourses translated with Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji’s own divine voice using AI – making the essence of spirituality accessible to millions of people in their own language, but also in its authentic form. New social handles have also been introduced in these languages – thus spreading wisdom through 30+ social media pages!

Artificial intelligence has changed the digital landscape but its overwhelming abilities have also been a means to misconstrue and negatively use information. In such times, this is a great step by one of the first faith-based organisations to pioneer the use of AI to transform lives and make spirituality palatable.

On the same evening, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra Shri Rameshji Bais was also bestowed with the “Jain Dharma Hiteshi Award” at the revered hands of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji for his support towards the Jain community in upholding its heritage. In the spirit of celebrating the mission’s multi-lingual initiatives, he also launched a special series named ‘Dealing with Anger Effectively’ by Pujya Gurudevshri and a meditation on Forgiveness.

Deeply touched by the event, Rameshji expressed, “Maharashtra has always been a land of saints, and it is our immense privilege that Shrimad Rajchandraji too graced this city back when He was 19 years old. I bow down to Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji for keeping alive Shrimad Rajchandraji’s legacy of knowledge, and walking the path laid by Shrimadji, through His extensive humanitarian and compassionate efforts today. I’m deeply grateful to Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur for making me part of these marvellous Paryushan celebrations!”

On this occasion, the Vice President of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, Atmarpit Nemiji, shared the vision behind the multi-lingual AI initiative, “This effort has shown that cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence when channelised correctly, can have a massive impact in promoting universal peace and global harmony. This will be a tool to carry Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji’s profound discourses, emanating straight from His deep inner experiences, beyond the barriers of languages and countries, and bring a powerful transformation in the lives of spiritual seekers.”

The global scale of this initiative is certainly unprecedented, driving millions of lives on the path to self-discovery.
