Monsoon Relief for the Poor and Homeless

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s Humanitarian Care programme has been on the forefront in providing relief to marginalised communities across the globe. As a part of this noble intent, it strives to provide essential monsoon relief material to the less-privileged. This monsoon, volunteers distributed talpatris (plastic tarpaulins), benefiting close to 1,000 individuals across Dharampur and the interior villages of Kalyan, Panvel, Navi Mumbai, and Palghar in Maharashtra, including a rural school.

Talpatris are essential during monsoons as they act as makeshift roofs or ground sheets, shielding homes and belongings from rainwater, especially in underserved and flood-prone areas. This timely initiative aims to offer basic shelter and preserve dignity amidst harsh weather. Through this distribution drive, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care reinforced its commitment to serving vulnerable communities to help them overcome the vagaries of nature.

#SadguruWhispers The world is preserved by the wise and steadfast, not by the powerful and foolhardy.
